CHERI MAE JOCSON is a writer, poet and artist. She is the author of hybrid poetry and journal collections All Out of Confessions (Curious Publishing, 2023) and I Have A Confession— (Curious Publishing, 2021). Cheri Mae received her B.A. in Creative Writing from California State University of Long Beach, where she was the recipient of the 2024 William Shadden Memorial Award for Poetry, and the former Poetry editor for Rip Rap Literary Journal and MUSE.
Cheri Mae’s recent poems appear in MUSE, Pomona Valley Review, ABYME, A-Passion-Project, The Brutal Realm, Dead Relatives Magazine, Pluto’s, and elsewhere. Her poetry has been exhibited at several galleries through the mediums of camcorder video and/or printed paper at The Deep Cut (2022), Sentidos (2023), Bitter End Gallery (2024), Nandito (2024), the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art (2024), and Collective Joy (2024).
